Birgitte Halling Koch graduated from Odense Theatre School in 1972. She has worked as an actress in both Denmark and Norway.
Birgitte speaks English fluently, and Norwegian very well.

She has landed roles in many TV series and films, most recently in the highly acclaimed A Place Nearby by Oscar-nominated director Kaspar Rostrup, but also in Hans Kirks Fiskerne and Jesper Jensens Klitgården.

Birgittes stage work includes roles in The Man of the Moment, Den Kære Famile, Ibsens, The Wild Duck and the Swedish musical Katte in Oslo.
Additionally, Birgitte has also made vast contributions to the radio theatre as well as making a great number of voice-overs for TV, animated features and commercials

From 1987 to 1997 Birgitte Halling Koch has also directed a number of productions in Denmark and Norway.

Since 1985 Birgitte Halling Koch has taught at The State Theatre School, Holberg Theatre School, The Opera High School and at The Theatre High School in Oslo.
