Jens Jacob Tychsen graduated from Århus Theatre School in 1998 and has since then worked at theatres around the country.

In 1998, he worked at Århus Teater in productions such as De sidste Fristelser, Les Miserables, Tjener for to Herrer and A Clockwork Orange.

He has also featured in Den dobbelte Troløshed at Grønnegårdsteatret and Howard Barker's Det sårede Ansigt, Chekhov's Ivanov and the hit production of Moliére's Fruentimmerskolen at The Royal Theatre. Most recently, he starred in the title role of Hamlet at Mungo Park Teater.

Furthermore, Jens Jacob Tychsen has lent his voice to a number of documentaries, TV ads and animated features such as Disney's Hercules, Pocahontas and Toy Story 2.

Appeared in 2002 in a substantial role in two episodes of Rejseholdet on DR TV.

Merit awards

He received the Teater 1 Award in 2000 and the following year The Talent Award at the Reumert of the Year-ceremony.
